Flight Of The Conchords Are Returning To HBO
HBO comedy series Flight Of The Conchords has been off the air since 2009, but it seems Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie are cooking up something new for the network. In an interview with The Guardian about his new vampire spoof movie, What We Do In The Shadows, Clement revealed that they were asked to do a new four-episode comedy show that is due out next year. “It was supposed to be this year but then we decided to put What We Do In The Shadows out ourselves,” Clement adds. While the show won’t be a continuation of Flight Of The Conchords — as Clement clarifies in a tweet — the promise of new material from the comedy duo is exciting.
UPDATE: The Guardian has since revised its story to clarify McKenzie is not involved in the new HBO show.
