It’s a good time to be a Mineral fan: in addition to their extensive reunion tour that will run until February, they’re releasing a retrospective collection with all kinds of outtakes and b-sides, and frontman Chris Simpson is putting out a new album under his Zookeeper project. The emo staples kicked off said reunion tour last night with a sold out show at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus. They played a surprise show in their hometown of Austin last week, so it’s the second time the band has played together since 1997. Watch video from the show and check out a setlist below.
