Carl Barât And The Jackals – “Glory Days”
The Libertines got back together for reunion shows this past summer, and they also teased a possible new album. But co-leader Carl Barât is keeping busy until that happens. He’s got a new backing band called the Jackals, and they’re working on a debut album. First single “Glory Days,” which the Bronx’s Joby J. Ford produced, sounds like a nice tribute to the Clash’s feral reggae-punk. Listen below.

The band’s as-yet-untitled debut album is coming out next year on Grand Jury.
