The Mantles are one of many fine rock bands in the Bay Area with their own unique twist on jangly, infectious garage-psych. New single “Memory” reminds us that the Mantles’ particular twist involves faint echoes and a fervent post-punk edge. This is an immensely likable rock ‘n’ roll song, playful yet melancholy, jaunty in tempo and catchy as hell. Enjoy it below.
