We already knew that Ex Cops singer Amalie Bruun likes black metal, but it seems she's also into "White Noise." The latest single from the New York alt-rock duo's Daggers really lets 'er rip -- "her" being Bruun, who pushes her voice to the brink on the song's soaring chorus. The tune ably blends "Maniac"-style synths with shoegaze guitars, and the interplay between Bruun and bandmate Brian Harding is reminiscent of the Fiery Furnaces in a sleeker, more radio-friendly way.
