Sleater-Kinney Announce No Cities To Love Reunion Album & World Tour
It’s true! It’s all true! Sleater-Kinney are back in every possible capacity, with a new album called No Cities To Love coming in January and a world tour to support it throughout February and March.
The massively influential and super fucking great punk trio recorded No Cities To Love in secret with producer John Goodmanson — who also produced Call The Doctor, Dig Me Out, All Hands On The Bad One, and One Beat — at San Francisco’s Tiny Telephone Recording in early 2014 with additional sessions at Portland’s Kung Fu Bakery Recording Studios and Seattle’s Electrokitty Recording. “Bury Our Friends,” which arrived last week on a mysterious 7″ along with the Sleater-Kinney’s Start Together box set, will be the first single. The “Bury Our Friends” lyric video was made by Miranda July, who also directed the “Get Up” video, on Friday, and it explains this Carrie Brownstein Instagram post from yesterday:
You can download an MP3 of “Bury Our Friends” in exchange for your email address using this widget:
