’90s funk-rock goofs Primus have long histories with intense whimsy and with top hats, and it should not shock you that their new album Primus & The Chocolate Factory With The Fungi Ensemble is an LP-length Willy Wonka tribute. The album reimagines the soundtrack to 1971’s Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, and the band is extending that tribute by including five golden tickets in five random copies of the record. If you get one of the tickets, you get free tickets to Primus shows for life (or, you know, until the band breaks up again).
