Julian Casablancas Issues Statement On Brunch
Whatever you want to call this ongoing hubbub about Julian Casablancas and his disdain for New York City brunch crowds and/or hotshot GQ reporters — Brunchgate? Brunchghazi? — consider today’s tweets the Strokes and Voidz frontman’s last words on the matter. In a Twitter rant just now, he gave his definitive take on brunch as well as intra-band relations in the Strokes and the functionality of Twitter. One notable quotable: “i am not against the concept of weekend late breakfast, which people of all freedoms & hues should enjoy.” Here’s the full spiel.
