Just a little more than a month ago, Beck was a musical guest on Conan; he’d come through to cover George Harrison’s solo song “Wah-Wah” as part of the show’s George Harrison Week. Last night, Beck turned up on the show again, and this time he was there to sing one of his own songs. Beck sang “Waking Light,” the lovely single from his lovely Morning Phase album. He also looked like a million bucks, wearing a beautifully tailored suit that paired nicely with the song’s sophisticated weariness. Seriously, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Beck look this good. Also on Conan last night, O’Brien’s former bandleader Max Weinberg made a big return to the show. Watch Beck’s performance and Weinberg’s homecoming below.

Wasn’t Beck going to release another album this year? I guess that’s not happening now.
