Stream Cult Of Youth Final Days
Two years ago, the Brooklyn band Cult Of Youth earned an Album Of The Week distinction for Love Will Prevail, an album of ritualistic, gothic punk rock. Final Days, the band’s forthcoming follow-up, is just as feverish and strong, and it sounds even more like it’s haunted by the ghosts of dead civilizations. This is a grand, harrowing, monolithic album — the sort of thing you play at the gym to make yourself feel like you’re pulling a chariot with your bare hands. We’ve posted the early songs “Empty Faction” and “Roses,” and now you can stream the full LP over at Pitchfork.
Final Days is out 11/11 on Sacred Bones.
