Ryan Adams and Bryan Adams both share a birthday (which is today -- happy birthday, guys!), and they made their admiration for each other known in a series of tweets today. The once contentious Ryan/Bryan connection goes way back, culminating in Ryan covering Bryan's "Run To You" in concert last month. The typeface on Ryan's new self-titled album even mimics Bryan Adams' 1984 album Reckless, which, coincidentally, has its 30th anniversary today. To celebrate, it's getting a reissue later this month with some new tracks, including an unearthed title track which ... sounds a lot like Ryan Adams. Everything comes full circle! Read the birthday tweets between the two and listen to Bryan's previously unreleased song below.
