Tonight, Anti- labelmates Daniel Lanois, the Antlers, Tinariwen, and Lonney Holley will play a big show that they’ve called Anti-Thesis at Brooklyn’s Masonic Temple. In advance of the event, Lanois remixed the Antlers’ “Doppelganger.” And now Antlers frontman Peter Silberman has taken on “Toumast Tincha,” a recent single from the badass Toureg desert-blues band Tinariwen. In Silberman’s hands, the song takes on a dreamy, faraway quality. Listen to his reworking below.
