Ariel Pink’s pom pom is almost upon us, and to mark the occasion Pink is planning a week of events in Los Angeles. Pink’s Tantalising Tinsel-Town Take Over begins tomorrow, 11/11, with Delicious Donuts and Delectable Ditties, a pom pom listening session at El Prado Bar catered by Donut Friend. That’s followed by Get Groovy at Gimme Gimme on Thursday 11/13, a DJ set by Pink at Gimme Gimme Records. Friday 11/14 brings Pretty in Pink. Permanently, an event at Permanent Records where fans can get their nails painted pink by LA’s top manicure artists. On Saturday 11/15 it’s the Luxuriously ‘LA’ Limo Listening Luau, a chance to cruise the city in a limo blasting pom pom on the soundsystem. Finally, to celebrate release day on Monday 11/17, Pink will host a party at Origami Records called Ariel Pink’s Pom-pom-igami, which promises free Two Boots pizza, special appearances by L.A. singer Angelyne and other guests, music, drinks, and more.
