She & Him are taking on the classics on their upcoming fourth album — we’ve already heard their version of “Stay Awhile,” “Time After Time,” and “Oh No, Not My Baby,” and now they’ve shared their take on 1934 jazz standard “Stars Fell On Alabama.” The song was written by Mitchell Parish with music by Frank Perkins and has been covered by over 100 artists, perhaps most famously by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. The duo have been performing this track live for a few years now, and even posted a karaoke cover of them singing it in 2012. Listen below.
