The New Basement Tapes — the supergroup made up of Elvis Costello, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Marcus Mumford, Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith, and Carolina Chocolate Drops’ Rhiannon Giddens — made their television debut earlier this week on Jimmy Fallon, and they showed up on Ellen today to perform another track from their new record Lost On The River. They performed “Kansas City,” which Mumford took the lead on. You can watch below.
