The Smiths have always loomed large in Stars’ constellation of influences, and Stars’ Torquil Campbell and Chris Seligman made that connection plain by performing an acoustic cover of “What Difference Does It Make” during a visit to Philadelphia radio station WXPN to promote new album No One Is Lost. The segment is called Like A Version, which is confusing because Australian station Triple J has been airing a segment by that name for a good solid decade.
