Watch Kanye West, U2 With Bruce Springsteen & Chris Martin Live From Times Square For World AIDS Day
U2 were planning a surprise concert in Times Square tonight for World AIDS Day, but Bono’s bike accident put the event in jeopardy. Now it seems the concert is happening after all (official title: “A (RED) THANK YOU — Presented by (BANK OF AMERICA)RED”), and the circumstances have led to a lineup that’s arguably more special than a regular U2 appearance. “U2 Minus 1″ will headline the event with Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin taking turns standing in for Bono. Kanye West and Carrie Underwood will also perform. Those attending in person are instructed to enter Times Square at 50th St. & Broadway. Get more info here, and watch the livestream below starting at 7:30PM EST.
