Vice Turns 20 Party Brings Insane Lineup Feat. Karen O, Lil Wayne, Stephen Malkmus, Pussy Riot, Jonah Hill & Spike Jonze, Jarvis Cocker, Many More To Brooklyn Tomorrow
Vice is throwing an invite-only party tomorrow night in Brooklyn to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner — who will be part of the house band along with Andrew Wyatt, Pauli PSM, and Jack Lawrence — posted the lineup for the event on his Twitter account tonight. It’s pretty crazy: Karen O, Lil Wayne, Stephen Malkmus, Ghostface Killah, Pussy Riot, Jonah Hill and Spike Jonze, Jarvis Cocker, Chromeo, Action Bronson, Andrew WK, Nick Thorburn, Black Lips, and a bunch more are scheduled to perform. There’s also a punk supergroup (with members of Fucked Up, OFF!, Cro-Mags, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Soft Circle) and a metal supergroup (with members of Megadeth, Testament, Municipal Waste, and Acrassicauda). Check out the full list below.
UPDATE: Vice promises a “setlist of seminal hits that will include everything from ‘The Kids Are United’ to ‘House of Jealous Lovers’ to ‘Anarchy In The UK.'” They are announcing additional performers as they confirm, starting with Interpol’s Paul Banks and Perfect Pussy’s Meredith Graves.
