Odd Future and Awful Records are two big, insular, tight-knit rap crews. They both built up reputations by throwing a ton of free music up on the internet. And they both have leaders — Tyler, The Creator and Father, respectively — who helped establish their musical and lyrical identities and who know how to use shock value. So yeah, these two guys have some things in common. And during a recent show in the Awful Records hometown of Atlanta, Tyler brought Father to the stage, where he did “Look At Wrist,” the hauntingly catchy breakout track from his Young Hot Ebony mixtape.
