With the press cycle for They Want My Soul slowing down, I wasn't expecting to hear any new Spoon songs for a very long time, but it turns out the band debuted a new song called "Satellite" in Houston just before the new year. It's a nervous, melancholy, noisy piece of work that manages to sound both completely Spoon-y and unlike anything else in their discography. Maybe they'll crank out an EP or release it as a one-off?
