Jimmy Carter, Bruce Springsteen To Honor Bob Dylan At MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala
We already reported that the National Academy Of Recording Arts And Sciences was planning to present Bob Dylan with its MusiCares Person Of The Year Award at a February gala, and that Beck, Jack White, the Black Keys, and many others would perform. But now the list of dignitaries just got a little more impressive. At the 2/6 ceremony at the Los Angeles Convention Center, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter will present Dylan with his award, as the Associated Press reports. Bruce Springsteen, one of the closest things Dylan has to a peer, will also perform. Two days later, the Grammys will happen, and maybe some of those people will stick around.
