As previously reported, Sufjan Stevens will spend six days later this month playing a live score for Round-Up, a slow-motion documentary about rodeos, at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music. Stevens will be playing electronic stuff, and he'll be accompanied by the piano and percussion ensemble Yarn|Wire. Aaron and Alex Craig shot the footage in Oregon, and they've just shared a trailer, which lets us hear some of Stevens' music for the piece accompanying ecstatic Americana imagery. It all looks and sounds kind of beautiful. Check it out below.

Stevens will perform the score 1/20-25 at BAM. And who knows, maybe he'll take some inspiration and write an album about Oregon.
