Joni Mitchell, 71, is the new face of Saint Laurent, following in the footsteps of fellow musicians including Beck, Ariel Pink, Marilyn Manson, Kim Gordon, Christopher Owens, Courtney Love, Daft Punk and DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith. Acclaimed photographer Hedi Slimane photographed Mitchell at her home in Bel Air — wearing a tunic from the brand’s folk collection, a fedora, and a cape hand-made by Slimane — as part of the Saint Laurent Music Project.
