Cali punk royalty John Reis (Rocket From The Crypt, Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes, Pitchfork, Sultans, the Night Marchers) has teamed with noisy Minnesota garage rockers the Blind Shake on an album of frantic surf-punk instrumentals. Modern Surf Classics is going to fucking rip if the ravenous, saxophone-blaring “Sea Saw” is anything to go by. It’ll tear the teeth out of your skull when you hear it below.
