Young Thug is a rapper whose slurring, whiny, nonsensical delivery and Ziggy Stardust femininity flies in the face of rugged rap orthodoxy. Freddie Gibbs is a hard-nosed, no-bullshit rapper who embodies that orthodoxy. So hearing them on the same track is quite a trip. "Old English," from the forthcoming Mass Appeal Compilation, Vol. 1, also features A$AP Ferg and boasts a strong combination of high-end twinkle and booming bass courtesy of Salva and Nick Hook. Watch animated, Basquiat-like versions of all three rappers in director Ruffmercy's entertainingly colorful video below.
