Deerhoof continued their two-decade reign over noise-addled pop on last year's La Isla Bonita, and now they've released a video for one of the record's fuzzier, more-subdued moments, "Black Pitch." The band's firecracker frontwoman Satomi Matsuzak strolls through London's well-known seaside spots, including Canary Wharf and Battersea, playing further on the album title. What I like best about the clip is her utter lack of pretension -- aside from the streak of blue in her side ponytail, there's no indication that this woman is a decade-spanning creative force. She could be just another woman wandering the shore, and you get the feeling that's the point. Watch it below.
