Young Fathers – “Rain Or Shine”
Last year, the Scottish art-rap trio Young Fathers won the UK’s Mercury Music Prize for their album Dead. This year, they’ll follow that album up with a confusingly titled new LP called White Men Are Black Men Too. First single “Rain Or Shine” is a noisy, cluttered track that sounds like a poetry slam breaking out at an auto-parts factory. White Men Are Black Men Too is out 4/7 on Big Dada.
