The Juliana Hatfield Three – “Wood”
In a couple of months, the reunited Juliana Hatfield Three return with their new album Whatever, My Love — the 22-years-later follow-up to the 1993 alt-pop minor classic Become What You Are. We’ve posted the early songs “If I Could” and “Ordinary Guy,” and like those ones, the new song “Wood” is a bracingly effective combination of fuzz and tunefulness. Hatfield’s songwriting remains strong, and that bright, sparkling modern-rock production style might sound better today than it did in the early ’90s, if only because it’s a little more rare. Listen to the song below.
Whatever, My Love is out 2/17 on American Laundromat.
