Cloud Castle Lake – “Glacier”
The Dublin trio Cloud Castle Lake, whose Dandelion EP came out last year and impressed a lot of people, have a new single called “Glacier” coming out next month. It’s a jittery, ethereal piece of work, with a rhythm section that slip-slides all over the place. Radiohead and, more to the point, Atoms For Peace are obvious points of comparison; this is a group less concerned with song form and more into putting together a complex, interlocking groove that builds to a towering finale. Listen to “Glacier” below.
The “Glacier” single is out 3/16 on Happy Valley Records.
