Red Sea – “Life Image Module”
When I interviewed Atlanta avant-punks Warehouse for a recent Band To Watch feature, we spent a significant amount of time chatting about their local scene. Atlanta is fertile breeding ground for some of the most intriguing experimental rock music to date, and Warehouse’s label- and house-mates Red Sea are another band worthy of attention outside of the insular scene. “Life Image Module” is the second single off of Red Sea’s forthcoming LP In The Salon. It’s a loose-limbed song that holds a universe within it as nebulous vocals construct a kind of scaffolding for effortless instrumental improvisation — a tremendous follow-up to “On The Marble,” too. Listen below.
In The Salon is out 3/3 via Bayonet.
