Mark Ronson – “Uptown Funk (Remix)” (Feat. Bruno Mars & Action Bronson)
Mark Ronson’s ridiculously fun Bruno Mars collab “Uptown Funk” has been the #1 song in the country for a few weeks, and it’s now playing in just about every new movie trailer. Ronson was a guest DJ on Hot 97 in New York this morning, and he took the opportunity to play a new “Uptown Funk” remix, one that features Action Bronson rapping about “pillow fights with Dominican mothers” on the intro. It also scratches in some of Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz’ “Deja Vu (Uptown Baby),” which had to happen. The remix is a mess, but it’s a stupid-fun mess, and I really hope Ronson makes a new video with Bronson in it, preferably doing choreographed dance steps. Ronson produced a track on Bronson’s forthcoming album Mr. Wonderful, sampling Billy Joel for it, so you know these guys are friends already. Make it happen, Ronson! Listen to a radio rip of the remix below.

Ronson’s very good album Uptown Special is out now on RCA. Bronson’s album Mr. Wonderful is out 3/24 on Vice/Atlantic. That’s the cover art above.
