Dad Versus Son Dance Battle
It was Sigmund Freud’s interpretation of the Oedipal myth in which he claimed that all boys must kill their fathers, at least metaphorically, in order to successfully transition into the world of men. This may take many forms but perhaps the most powerful is the backyard dance battle. Two men enter, one man is the other man’s father, and one man leaves to get more casserole.
