It used to be that men weren’t supposed to be into fashion, but now it’s cool for men to take a vested interest (get it?) in how they look, which is what Matthew McConaughey has clearly done here. What a prince! I actually think this is an old photo taken at the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. Everyone is like, forget Don Draper because there is a new classic look in town. Roger Sterling is like, Check please! This is a timeless suit that you can wear to any event. WAS THIS TAKEN ON THE SET OF DOWNTON ABBEY? PERHAPS A WEDDING BETWEEN TWO POWERFUL LORDS OF THE LANDED GENTRY? You can just picture Matthew McConaughey making fun of Branson for not having the proper white tails to wear to dinner, and Branson hanging his head in shame because he knows that Lord Matthew is right, and that he will never be as fancy as the fancy lad Lord McConaughey. His wife probably didn’t want to let him leave the house. Are you kidding? You’re going to make all of the women in the world go crazy AND you are going to upstage her with your dashing fashion? Not fair! She finally resigned herself, knowing that it was her man’s ability to shine that drew her to him in the first place. This suit is actually the reason Matthew McConaughey has been pictured so many times without a shirt on, because he knew we weren’t even ready for what it is like when he wears clothes.
