About a week ago, a young woman named Chelsea Gill brought the asking-celebrities-to-hang-out-with-you-by-making-a-video trend from 2011 into 2012 (thank goodness, there is no trend anyone loves more than this trend, I hope this trend never dies) (LOL) (go to prom with me, Aaron Paul!) with a song asking Jason Segel to get a drink with her. (Though she could have just called him.) And then a week later Jason Segel DID get a drink with her? AND TOOK HER TO AN AWARDS SHOW? From Jason Segel's Twitter:

Hahah, elephant in the room, these Twitter quotes are basically unreadable. But the idea is that Jason Segel went to the Chicago Film Critics Association Awards and brought Chelsea from the video as his date. Which is very nice, though we do know that he apparently has a lot of trouble getting women because of a puppet room he has? Whatever, anyway, it seems like celebrities feel a lot of pressure when they get asked out on dates by normal people on the Internet. (Combined with feeling flattered, I'm sure.) (But I'm definitely also sure that they probably feel pressured.) (Except, wait, did JoGoLev ever go on the date with that cute girl with cancer?) (I DON'T THINK HE DID!) (BOOOOOO JOGOLEV!) Soooo uh, I guess we should just all do that? If there's someone we think we want to go on a date with? Luckily for me a video exists on YouTube that already says everything I want to say to Aaron Paul.
