Yiiiiiikes. Hey, even assholes love their families and don't want to see their friends in danger and have experienced genuine racism in their lives. And even assholes feel that they have a very firm grasp on what is right and what is wrong, and that grasp doesn't seem malicious or harmful to them in the least, it feels obvious, the way anyone's belief in what is right and what is wrong stems from some deeply entrenched confidence in its inherent truth.
