Remember a few weeks ago when Katharine McPhee, whoever she is, was being mobbed by paparazzi and a (presumably) homeless woman came to her defense, pulling her away to safety while yelling at the cameramen? It was pretty funny, actually, but in a "celebrity becomes suddenly confused" way. Today Funny Or Die put up a new original video featuring Katharine and the woman, known as "Quween," and not to be a party pooper because it is based on a pretty funny and original idea, but there's just no way to watch this without feeling kind of icky inside, you know?
A friend suggested that there is one way to watch this without feeling kind of icky inside, and that is to watch it with the assumption that Quween really is "an eccentric local" (nice euphemism, FOD) and that this video gave her the thrill of her life, and she's totally in on the joke and not homeless and being exploited at all. But it's a stretch. I'm not saying FOD or Katharine McPhee, whoever she is, are bad people or anything. I'm just saying guys, come on: eek! Some ideas are best left on Twitter.
