It's 2009, so one of the entries at the Cannes Film Festival is a cat video. Nothing against it or its maker or Midge the one-eyed cat, but you gotta work a whole lot harder than just running around real fast to make it in the cutthroat world of internet cat videos, where the competition is fiercely cute, able to use props such as boxes, and has to hold its own against upstarts like Hamsterballs.
