If we all sign something promising to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall, can they make the marketing stop? There is such a thing as overpromotion! Such as:
- Jonah Hill's character, Matt the Waiter, has a MySpace.
- Kristen Bell's character, Sarah Marshall, stars in a fake show called Crime Scene which has a fake website.
- And, as PopCandy points out, you can watch an entire fake video of a fake song by a fake band in the movie, Infant Sorrow, here, without even knowing if you like the movie yet!
- And that's not counting the post-it notes on taxis and at least two fake blogs.
Okay, we'll see it, we promise, enough!
