Above Average’s popular web series Sound Advice with Vanessa Bayer is partnering with IFC’s Comedy Crib for a whole new season. Bayer plays the hapless media coach Janessa Slater who insults, pokes and prods at famous musicians in a faux-consultation. Past guests include the likes of Drake, FUN., Haim and St. Vincent, and today the new season kicks off with “Weird Al” Yankovic. Other guests this season include Chromeo, Nick Jonas, Jenny Lewis, Leighton Meester, Sleater-Kinney, the Vamps, and Haim (for the second time!). It’s also exclusively sponsored by Hyundai, so you’re gonna have to sit through Bayer in an excessive number of commercials before getting to her interview with Weird Al.
