Stream MusicNOW – 10 Years
For a solid decade now, the National’s Bryce Dessner has been putting together the Cincinnati-based MusicNOW Festival, which often involves one-off collaborations that include indie and experimental music big dogs. A new compilation called MusicNOW – 10 Years commemorates the anniversary by collective live recordings from past years of the festival. We’ve already posted the opening track, which is Sounds Of The South — a supergroup that featured Justin Vernon, Sharon Van Etten, Matthew E. White, Megafaun, and Fight The Big Bull — doing “Trials, Troubles, Tribulations.” The rest of the compilation includes contributions from people like Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, and Robin Pecknold. And right now, you can stream the whole album at Pandora.
MusicNOW – 10 Years is out 3/10 on Brassland.
