Purity Ring got a new light setup! The best thing about the duo’s live shows, up until now, has been the crazy brass tendrils of light that Corin Roddick has been using. Last night, though, Purity Ring were the musical guests on Late Night With Seth Meyers, where they performed “Begin Again,” the incandescent single from their new album Another Eternity. And this time around, Roddick has these lamps built into his drum machine setup; they give off different tones and light up like the sidewalk squares in Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” video when he smacks them. This looked cool on late-night TV, and I imagine it’ll look even cooler when Purity Ring come to your local mid-sized venue. Watch the performance below.
