Foxygen Announce Farewell Tour
It looks like Foxygen are about to call it a day. The Californian psych-poppers have only been in the public eye for a couple of years, but they’ve been together since 2005, and their run in the spotlight has been marked by internal drama. Today, they’ve announced what they’re calling a “Farwell Tour,” a five-month trek that will take them across North America and Europe. (As of now, their last show will be at Finland’s Flow Festival in August.) The band made the announcement on Twitter, writing that “This will be our LAST tour+a revamped show spectacle.” Check out the dates below.

UPDATE: In their only social-media action since announcing the tour, Foxygen fav’d this tweet:
@foxygentheband Star Power are over. Foxygen aren't.
— nahorsetsu (@groondle) March 16, 2015
This would seem to indicate that Foxygen aren’t breaking up; they’re only ending the “…And Star Power” incarnation of the band. That’s pretty confusing!
