Watch The Smashing Pumpkins Go Electric On Fallon, Acoustic On Good Morning America
Last night, Billy Corgan brought his new lineup of the Smashing Pumpkins to The Tonight Show, where they served as musical guests. This was sort of an all-star lineup of the band, and it included the Killers bassist Mark Stoermer and Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk. Stoermer and Wilk have been playing shows with Corgan lately, and on the show, they didn’t sound remotely thrown-together. The band played “Drum And Fife,” the latest single from the 2014 Pumpkins album Monuments To An Elegy, and they sounded polished and locked-in. Check it out below.
The Pumpkins also performed an acoustic version of “Drum And Fife” on Good Morning America this morning. Watch that here.
Monuments To An Elegy is out now on Martha’s Music.
