Omaha electo-pop trio Icky Blossoms previously announced their second album Mask will be out in May, and we premiered the bubbling lead single “In Folds.” The follow-up, “Living In Fiction,” is a huge, slippery anthem that feels infused with the drama of the ’80s. Mike Mogis produced Mask, and you can hear his signature tiny glitches and flourishes all over this song — the Mogis-level attention to detail is truly astonishing. There’s a jittery, ominous underbelly to this song that twists it into a massive, exultant kiss-off. “Living In Fiction” will also be released as a 7″ for Record Store Day, b/w the non-album track “Little Death.” Listen below.
