Keljet is the disco-pop duo Koen Mestrum and Teun Pranger, who hail from the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Pranger handles all the production on their tracks, and Mestrum plays guitar live, elevating their sound from your typical DJ affair to a tropical twist on dance music. Their newest track “What’s Your Sign” features baby-whine confetti vocals from Holychild (Liz Nistico and Louie Diller) and meanders between multi-color synths and crashing hi-hats. “I’ll let you kiss me when I’m low,” the girls sing on the chorus — didn’t you know the chance to comfort someone is a privilege?
