Stream Mew +-
It’s been six years since we last heard from expansive Danish proggers Mew. Next week, they’ll finally get around to releasing +-, their long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s No More Stories… The new album aims for a kind of grand-scale crystalline prettiness, and it gets there more often than not. Kimbra and Bloc Party’s Russell Lissack make contributions, and the whole thing soars and twinkles with arena-sized panache. We’ve heard the early tracks “Satellites,” “Water Slides,” and “Witness,” and now you can stream the whole thing at NPR.
+- is out 4/27 on Play It Again Sam.
