Vampire Weekend's bassist Chris Baio is embarking on a solo album of his own. The musician posted a thrilled message on Twitter and Instagram today revealing he's signed to Glassnote and will release his debut full-length this summer. He's released electronic music sporadically as Baio before, including a pair of EPs. He's described the album as "Bowie and Ferry-influenced pop songs and dumbsmart arena techno comfortably coexist." What's not to love?
