Sia – “Big Girls Don’t Cry (Bleachers Remix)”
Sia Furler and Jack Antonoff are two music-business insiders now finding ways to weird up the mainstream on their own. Furler wrote hits for people like Rihanna before finding her own transgressive performance-art style of pop stardom. Antonoff, meanwhile, is a member of Fun. and a Taylor Swift collaborator, and he records excellently playful and nervy power-pop as Bleachers. And now Antonoff has remixed Sia’s single “Big Girls Cry,” throwing gated new-wave drums and echoing vocal pings in with her titanic chorus. Listen to it below.
