When they were making their Random Access Memories album, Daft Punk got disco god and Chic frontman Nile Rodgers to help out on tracks like "Get Lucky" and "Lose Yourself To Dance." Now that Chic are about to return with a new album, Rodgers is the subject of a new French documentary called Nile Rodgers: From Disco to Daft Punk. As part of the doc, Daft Punk have sent a missive from their spaceship or whatever, thanking Rodgers for all the great music he's made over the years. It's as close to sincerity as robots can get, and you can watch it below.
