L.A. singer-songwriter Moses Sumney is currently on tour supporting Sufjan Stevens, but today he found the time to offer the A-Side of his aptly-named "Seeds" 7" -- apt because it's a bare, earthy plea that doesn't require much to slowly grow into something gorgeous. Nothing but simple acoustic guitar progressions, dirty vinyl revolutions, and a breathy, feathery falsetto organically coalesce to become much lovelier in the sum of its parts. It is the perfect soundtrack for laying in the grass and watching clouds pass -- simply stunning. Check it out.
